DESCRIPTION:ROAD TRIP!!! \n\nWe’re headed to the Allegheny County Fairgr‏ounds for the Blue Ridge Fiber Fest in Sparta\, NC on Saturday June 2. The Fest includes the fiber animals you’d expect (who can resist those beautiful alpaca eyes?) and 40+ fiber related vendors. There will be food available for lunch. There are also a few classes in the afternoon if you’re in the mood for learning something new. So here are the details: Cost – $15 (non-refundable) for members. Depart: 7:30 a.m. sharp from the rear parking lot of the University Center on Pleasantburg Dr. (adjacent to the Camelot Theater). Return @7:30 p.m. Sign up at the March and April meeting with Barbara Gambrell (check or cash) or email scknittingguild.com to get her mailing address.
