DESCRIPTION:Men’s Knitting Retreat at ITW\nFee includes:\nYarn and Pattern\nInstruction\nAccommodations\nAll Meals (6)\nSnacks and Beverages\nMen’s Knitting Retreat\n  \nFriday evening from 6:00 – 9:00\nDinner:  Chili\, Macaroni and Cheese\, Salad\, Corn Bread\, Corn Muffins\, Desert\nWe’ll begin with learning concepts on how to make the English Driving Cap. \n  \nSaturday morning from 8:00 – noon\nBreakfast:  Coffee bar\, Juice Bar\, Yogurt\, Oatmeal Mix (my own recipe)\, Fresh Fruit\, Breads\, Eggs\, Bacon\, Biscuits and Gravy \nChoose your yarn and cast on for The English Driving Cap.\nWhat you need to bring:\n#6 US needles  DPN or 2 circular needles\n#6 US 24” circular needle\n1 Center marker (denotes the back of hat)\n3 unique markers (denotes left side/odd rows)\n32 non-unique markers\nTapestry needle\n2 -12” scrap yarn worsted \nLike all of my classes\, this is not hard\, but this is challenging.  New concepts will be used throughout this process.  If you don’t already know how to M1L\, M1R\, M1\, Short rows\, Decreases\, don’t worry – these stitches are easy to learn and execute. \nThis cap takes me about 12 hours to make.  So\, we should be done with it by Sunday Afternoon. \n\nSaturday – rest of the day/evening \nLunch:  Butternut Squash Soup\, Salad\, Make your own Sandwich – Ham\, Turkey\, Chips\, Pop\, Cookies\nWe will continue working on the English Driving Cap throughout the day. \nDinner:  Chicken/Paneer Korma\, Cumin Rice\, Naan\, Kheer **No Heat added to any dish!\nWe will continue working on the English Driving Cap throughout the evening.\n(I can easily be talked into setting up the Karaoke machine\, too.) \n  \nSunday morning\nBreakfast:  Coffee bar\, Juice Bar\, Yogurt\, Oatmeal Mix (my own recipe)\, Fresh Fruit\, Breads\, Eggs\, Bacon\, Homemade Biscuits and Gravy \nWe’ll continue working on the English Driving Cap and wrap up the event with lunch.  You are welcome to stay as long as you’d like on Sunday!\n \n  \nDo you want to bring your significant other who will NOT be taking classes?\nEasy peasy:\n1. Do NOT put in 2 adults when making reservation (it assumes both will be taking classes)\, Put in 1 adult\n2.
